Pacific Lock Company's PAC-BLU NexGen represents a significant advancement in the management of the “Access” series systems through an intuitive, mobile application interface.

The “Access” Series by PAC-BLU is distinguished as a versatile and cost-effective intelligent opening controller, capable of integrating diverse electronic door opening solutions. Its design facilitates management of systems ranging from single installations to networks comprising thousands of units, enabling control over electro-mechanical locks, servo and DC motors, drop bolts, and more.

The PAC-BLU NexGen app offers streamlined installation, configuration, removal, and unlocking of “Access” devices. Integration with the Sentinel web portal enhances administrative capabilities, allowing easy user management, assignment of digital eKeys, and access to device details, activity logs, and support tickets generated via the mobile application.

Notable features of PAC-BLU NexGen include:

<li>Digital eKeys: These virtual keys function similarly to physical keys but are accessible via smartphones. eKeys can be allocated through the Sentinel portal with options for timed access, group access, or single-use privileges. The app detects nearby devices with valid eKeys, enabling straightforward unlocking by tapping.</li>
<li>Installer Privileges: Authorized users can be granted installer rights through Sentinel, permitting them to add, configure, or remove devices within the system.</li>
<li>Multiple Lock Types: The system supports various output types suitable for devices such as solenoids, electromagnets, DC motors, and servo motors. Configuration options include sensor or timer relocking, motor run-time parameters, variable voltage settings, and adjustable locked/unlocked positions for servo motors.</li>
<li>Scheduled Access: Users can establish unlock and relock schedules based on days of the week or set exceptions for specific dates—useful for holidays or special events—directly via the app.</li>
<li>Activity Logging: All system activities are systematically recorded within Sentinel, providing visibility into events such as device installations, access attempts, user changes, or support ticket creation.</li>
<li>Support Ticket System: The app’s support feature collects diagnostic data—including device model, Bluetooth status, GPS location, and visible devices—and reports it to Sentinel to assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution.</li>
<li>OTA Firmware Updates: To ensure optimal performance and security, the system detects firmware updates automatically. Administrators can configure update permissions through Sentinel and enforce mandatory or optional updates during device connectivity.</li>
